13 year’s procurement:

  • green coffee procurement from all producing countries with focus on Brazil and Latin America
  • 6 year’s in charge of all purchases from Brazil to all factories in Europe for Sara Lee/DE, new JDE
  • 6 years in charge of all purchases from Central America, Peru and Colombia for Sara Lee/DE, new JDE
  • Definition and implementation of monthly purchasing strategy
  • Participation in international project teams and development of quality, logistics and purchasing strategies
  • Development and maintenance of professional relationships with suppliers

6 year’s supply chain management:

  • Responsibility for the entire supply chain management of green coffee  from the producing countries to the factories including customs clearance for Sara Lee/DE, new JDE
  • Responsible for the negotiation of freight rates with shipping lines, warehouses and the negotiation of tolling agreements with various service providers
  • Weekly and monthly S & OP teleconferences with the factories, including reporting of established key performance indicators
  • Extensive experience in project management in logistics and planning with a broad, deep knowledge of the design and structure of a modern integrated planning system (SAP / APO)
  • management of inbound and outbound team of 12 employees

2 year’s Trade:

  • Responsible for several Arabica profit centers and management of the Arabica Trading Team
  • Responsible for all purchases and sales of Brasil Arabica coffees at Volcafe Ltd.
  • Establishment and strengthening of relationships with suppliers
  • Customer relationship management and acquisition of new customers
  • Management of 6 employees directly and indirectly 10 employees (employees of the Supply Chain and Quality Department)

7 year’s of quality and blending management:

  • Daily tasting of 70 samples of green coffee from all producing countries of the world
  • Comprehensive knowledge and continuous extension of blending alternatives under consideration and maintenance of a consistent taste profile
